Week Three

Grandma and Grandpa Heimburg began their journey back to New York today. They took very good care of all of us while they were here - trips the grocery store, dinners, baby bouncing, trips to the doctor, handyman repairs, babysitting, and lots of love. We thank them for their gracious hospitality while they enjoyed their stay at our house. Jill and I are fortunate to have such caring families.

So, we're on our own now. This is when the meconium gets real! Wish us luck.

Here is another slideshow filled with what people keep telling us they want - baby pictures!!

Highlights include Deacon's first real bath, a great tofu loaf recipe (we'll make you eat weird stuff if you stay with us long enough), and a trip on the magical mystery glider.

The night out to the ball park was great! It was nice to get out into the other real world for a little bit. Thanks to everyone who stopped in to visit Deacon and to the grandparents Heimburg for making it all possible. (And so you know, we wish you could babysit for us every thirsty Thursday too!)
