According to our bathroom scale, Deacon now weighs about 13 pounds or so. He's a good eater - so good in fact that Mom has given him nicknames such as Cheeks McGee & Pork Chop (which she sings out, "Pooork Choop!") - neither of which will stick, but humor us for the time.
One other announcement. Our friends Amy and Byron Alday just told us they are 3 and a half months pregnant! Congratulations Aldays! And this is a warning to the rest of you: If you're coming to visit Asheville, be sure to get a vaccination for baby fever before you do.
Other than that, not much else is happening - which is exactly what we planned for. Hope everyone is doing wonderfully!

i will be traveling around north carolina the week of june 16th. will you be around the weekend of june 20th? is that a good time to visit? i think stephanie would meet up too.
The "knock" go bananas has to be my personal favorite so far...his personality is definitely developing and we are going to have fun!
