Update: Our new computer arrived today! Also, we had swimming tonight. So, No posts today. busy setting everything up. I'll try again tomorrow.

There's just too much to say and too much to show. I've already spent my night putting the albums together from our holidays. I'm going to release one album at a time over the next 2 nights of all our adventures! For now, here's some old stuff from before we left:

Thanksgiving 2010

What a wonderful time. Banana bread, homemade Chex mix, cheese and crackers, bourbon slush, cheesy bread, squash, mashed potatoes and potato pancakes, green beans, turkey (for the omni-vees), apple pie, homemade biscuits and jam. And it was great to see the family too. We're in withdrawal mode now and counting down the days until we get to see everybody for the Christmas holiday.

Here is this year's Turkey Dance. Next year I'll try to remember to get it on video.

Hope you had a Happy Halloween. Vera did well for her first, and Deacon definitely "got it" this time out. I'm happy that we were able to pull it all off with costumes for the entire family. We're now counting down the days to Thanksgiving!

Just in case you need a refresher for our costumes:

October

We traveled to Ohio last weekend to say goodbye to Grandma Lombardi and to celebrate her life. The weekend was inspired by and filled with the love that she showed everyone she met in her life. We love you Grandma!

The trip to Ohio also gave a chance for all the cousins to get together. There was plenty of running and jumping, screaming and laughing, crawling and gurgling. The kids had fun and the parents were worn out.

Other than that, we've been staying busy, working on some home improvements, and enjoying Deacon and Vera. Deacon is in the midst of some serious potty training. Vera has become quite proficient at her army crawling and her first two teeth have come in (bottom front)! Each day they have something new and wonderful to show us.
